"hi sir , i just went through your presentation and have some doubts if you can clear them please?

My doubt is regarding after how much time period should we  escalate the drug therapy and add another drug once we come across a patient of hypertension .how much time we should give the drug before increasing or adding the another class of drug? and after how much time we should label him resistant hypertension. I find found many times patients coming on 2nd day itself that there b.p is not controlled and is more than 140/90mmhg ...
