Concluding that many medical students are not entering residencies with the ability to efficiently use an electronic health record (EHR), the American Medical Association (AMA) is partnering with the Regenstrief Institute and Indiana University School of Medicine to launch an EHR training program.
Why this matters
The partnership will allow medical schools across the country to use the Regenstrief EHR Clinical Learning Platform, with actual data from patients to care for virtual patients and familiarize themselves with the workflows of an EHR.
